Who Are The Vanishing Elephant Players?
Breaking down theatre into its essential elements: actor and story-driven plays with a community focus.
The Vanishing Elephant Players is the driving force behind theatre productions and education at the Historic Masonic Temple. Founded in 2017, we present a wide variety of shows, in a wide variety of genres, from full-length productions to more casual theatrical events like cabarets and storytelling nights. The company is proud to present shows by well-known playwrights as well as up and comers—from Shakespeare to your neighbor, and everyone in-between.
With three stages available, Vanishing Elephant Players offer unique experiences in a unique venue, and in addition to on-stage productions, we strive to offer workshops and experiences to help those with a theatrical mind hone their craft (both on and off stage).
Most importantly, Vanishing Elephant Players take the term “community theatre” to heart. Our productions are open to anyone with a desire to participate in theatre, whether you are new to the artform or have a lifelong passion. We also have a strong desire to work with community organizations, both theatrical and not, to help entertain, educate, and motivate the community at large.
